Purple Layer Smoothie

We might be biased, but we reckon you should orange to make this smoothie tomorrow for all your friends. It is bound to get a thumbs up with this combo of ingredients!

Ingredients

250 g blackberries and blueberries plus extra for decoration

200 g orange juice

700 mL plant based alternative to yogurt

Handful mint Leaves

1-2 Tbsp maple syrup

1 mango

Water

1 scoop and 1 Tbsp, Vanilla Vega® Essentials

6 Tbsp puffed quinoa

Handful pomegranate seeds

Preparation

  1. Blend the blackberries and blueberries with 300 mL of plant-based alternative to yoghurt, 1 scoop of Vega® and orange juice until smooth. Add a little maple syrup if you like it sweeter, and leave it to one side.
  2. Peel the mango and cut into large pieces. Blend with 1 Tbsp of Vega®, a few leaves of mint and some water to get the desired thickness.
  3. Build the smoothie in a jar or glass of your choice.
  4. Per jar, start with 100 mL plant-based alternative to yoghurt, followed by ¼ of the berry smoothie, 1 ½ Tbsp puffed quinoa, ¼ of the mango smoothie, and finish with some berries, pomegranate seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup.
