Put your kitchen to work while you sleep. When you awake there will be a warm pumpkin spiced porridge waiting to greet you to start your day strong.
Ingredients
150 g oats
1125 mL water
200 g pumpkin purée
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 50 g sugar, for added sweetness
Optional: coconut drink
Preparation
- Add all ingredients to a slow cooker for 6-8 hours, overnight.
- Serve topped with pecans and coconut drink in the morning.
