Ingredients
100 g oats
140 g almonds
60 g dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
25 g cacao powder
25 g chia seeds
8 pitted Medjool dates
60 g peanut butter
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 scoop chocolate Vega® Essentials or Vega® Clean* Protein
Preparation
- Add all the dry ingredients into a food processor and blend for a few seconds (or until coarse)
- Add the dates, peanut butter, and maple syrup
- Process until combined, scraping sides as required. Depending on how sticky your dates are, if the mixture feels too dry, add hot water and adjust until you have a slightly sticky consistency
- Roll the mixture into approximately 24 balls
- Coat the extra cacao powder, or any other toppings you fancy
- Store the balls in an air tight container in the fridge for up to one week, or in the freezer for up to two weeks
