Fig-tastic Smoothie

No this isn’t a fig-ment of your imagination! Whip up this delicious morning smoothie today. Don’t have fresh figs? No problem, just soak dried figs in warm water for 20 minutes and they are ready to blend into your smoothie!

 

Ingredients

2-3 whole, fresh figs (or 40 g dried figs)

1 frozen or fresh banana

1 Tbsp almond butter

1 tsp cinnamon

½ inch piece of fresh ginger or ½ tsp ground ginger

375 mL unsweetened almond drink

A couple of ice cubes

1 scoop (34 g) Vanilla Vega® Essentials

Preparation

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender, blend and enjoy!
