Cold Brew Protein Shake

Cold brew is exactly how it sounds; brew your coffee (overnight) using cold water versus hot. The benefit? A more concentrated, richer, bolder, more delicious flavour that kicks all other iced coffees to the curb.  Feel free to choose decaf coffee over fully caffeinated if you prefer.

The second part of this recipe takes cold brew next level. Combine your cold brew with 1 scoop of Vega Clean* Protein for a delicious post-workout option.

Ingredients

250 mL cold brew coffee (your usual filter coffee for one)  

250 mL plant-based drink

1 scoop vanilla Vega® Clean* Protein

Preparation

  1. Make up your normal filtered coffee using cold water, and leave to infuse/brew overnight
  2. Pour 1 part cold brew with 1 part plant-based drink like coconut or almond into a shaker cup with ball or a blender. Add your scoop of vanilla Vega® Clean* Protein and mix until smooth.
  3. Add ice and enjoy!
