Love chocolate? Love hummus? It’s time to combine your true loves and enjoy together… we promise it is not as odd as it may sound! You can even use it in place of your favourite chocolate spread.
Ingredients
200 g tinned chickpeas
4 Tbsp maple syrup
2 Tbsp peanut butter or tahini
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 Tbsp cocoa powder
1-3 Tbsp rapeseed oil as required
Optional:
Replace some cocoa powder for chocolate Vega® Essentials to increase the protein
Preparation
- Combine all the ingredients, except the oil, in a food processor until smooth. Add oil as required to get texture of choice.
- Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
